The second route of 30 km has a high degree of difficulty because it covers a steep road that takes you 800 meters in altitude. In practice, it will reach the top of Epomeo which is the highest mountain on the island and completely dominates the whole territory. It starts from Bike Hotel Le Canne in the municipality of Forio, to the village of Panza, but from this point onwards it climbs through hilly landscapes of great beauty to Serrara Fontana. Here in Fontana a stop is made to reload the energy provisions and tackle the most difficult part, namely climbing Mount Epomeo. But it is really worth it! Breathtaking landscapes, enchanted forests and ancient cellars in tuff will accompany you on the way to the top. The descent into single treak is the most beautiful on the island and it passes through pristine forests of chestnut trees and Mediterranean plants. We then arrive at Casamicciola Terme and hence the town of Forio and Bike Hotel Le Canne.
